The Broome Review, in cooperation with The Center for Gender, Art & Culture, will sponsor several series of free creative writing workshops through the end of 2008.
The
second of this series will be a set of POETRY workshops,
which will be held on three consecutive weekends at the Cooperative Gallery 213, 213 State Street, Binghamton.
Dates: July 12, 19, 27 from 5-7 p.m..
Work
created at these workshops will be considered for possible inclusion in
a perfect-bound collection, titled Our Voices, to be published December 2008.
All workshops will be led by an editor of The Broome Review.
Participants are asked to bring only a pen & paper.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Funding
for this project is made possible with public funds from the New York
State Council of the Arts, administered by Chenango County Council for
the Arts.
